At twenty years old, I opened my first business, "Love Of A Party". During this eight year venture, I enjoyed a successful career as an event and wedding planner. "Love of a party", created the ultimate dream event for birthdays, weddings, bar mitzvahs, holiday and corporate parties. Soon after the birth of my first child and then becoming a single Mother, I quickly realized that spending time away from my son to maintain the dedicated service needed for event planning, was not conducive to raising a baby. Therefore, I entered the "Corporate Workforce".

For the next ten years, enjoyed great success with my career in Facilities and Corporate Planning. I quickly became the "Go To Gal" for any event planning, newsletters or other fun events associated with the company. However, my passion for paper and photography never seemed to be far from my creative mind.

In 2002, while working a full time job and still having the desire to product beautiful invitations and announcements, I opened an online custom invitation store Invitation Haven. This opportunity allowed me to merge my graphic design skills with my love of paper.

In 2006, I married my true soul mate, and after the birth of our daughter in 2007, it was time to return home. As our daughter turned one year, I needed to find a creative outlet, which was outside the home. So, I joined the Katy Paperie as their printer and part time sales associate. I was overjoyed to be back in the public life and helping Katy area customers find the "perfect" invitation and quality gift item. Unfortunately, I soon discovered the new owner's ideas and my artistic ideas were not compatible. Therefore I decided to leave the Katy Paperie and seek a more suitable outlet.

After hearing from neighbors and area friends, I quickly realized there is not another invitation store in Katy, Texas. Ladies are driving to Houston, Cypress and Sugarland for their invitation needs. Wow - this completely amazed me!! Then, the idea for "Paper Divas Boutique" was born.

"What is Paper Divas Boutique", you ask? Paper Divas Boutique is a new concept of a home retail shopping experience, where you can enjoy personalized service, without paying the overhead of a commercial store. We will open Paper Divas Boutique (PDB), by giving the customer an option of shopping online or in our home, from 10am to 4pm Monday through Friday any "by appointment" hours for Saturday. Our long term goals are to open a Katy area retail location. Until the optimal location is found, we do hope that you stop by and visit us.

Paper Divas Boutique will serve the Internet, Katy, Richmond and West Houston Area customers by providing custom printed invitations, stationery, unique gifts, hair accessories, jewelry, baby items, children apparel, back-to-school and holiday needs, purses, bags, personalized items and monogramming. Invitations will range from birth announcements, graduation announcements, wedding invitations, all birthday invitations, note cards, personalized stationery and SO MUCH MORE!!!

Paper Divas Boutique prides itself on providing outstanding and high quality products and service to our customers. As with our sister store Invitation Haven, our care for the customer continues, as we treat each special event in your lives and one of our own. Kevin and I enjoy supporting the fast growing Katy/Richmond area and we will continue to support the community. We look forward to developing a long relationship with each customer.
